Mt Lyndon revisted

Shanti reports…

This was my second trip up Mt Lyndon. This time I had friends for company and a lot less snow! The walk starts directly with the uphill… here are a few photos from the early stages…

The views of Lake Lyndon get better and better the higher you go, until they disappear. Then the Craigieburn range comes into view.

Mum found huge fields of stone gardens that look like they have been deliverately raked to look like a Zen garden.

She’s also thinking of a walk along these ridges at some point too. Thats Red Hill - the tallest one in the distance. We’re going to do that soon, but not as a ridge walk - at least not the first time we do it…

The view in the other direction - the far peak on the ridge going off to the right is Cloudy Hill. LIttle did I know I would be heading there for the next trip.
